Family personal growth

Updated: Oct 9, 2022

Raising a family isn’t an easy task. Like most things it takes some work, it requires valuable amounts of time and effort to encourage and give everyone what they need in order to grow. What you focus on grows! Though each family member can have different interests, it doesn’t mean they can’t be respected, honoured, brought together and continue to encourage good values. You can help children learn new skills with modelling, instructions and step-by-step guidance and most importantly being present.

Being present with your children is one of the most important and valuable gifts you can give them. Your time, your heart and your full attention are all precious gifts, and they are the gifts that will empower them to live lives of abundance. You can’t make relationships with materialistic things. Relationships are what make life happier and worthy of living.

Family personal growth

* Establish family time

* Play together

* Communicate and listen

* Respect and gratitude

By applying these four strategies to your family, you can enhance your family’s personal growth, regardless of your children’s ages. Make it a priority to spend time together.

ALWAYS BE KIND

In general, a relationship is emotionally abusive when there is a consistent pattern of abusive words and bullying behaviours that wear down a person's self-esteem and undermine their mental health.
There are several red flags of emotional abuse. Keep in mind that even if your partner, parent (step), co-worker, or friend only does a handful of these things versus doing them all, your relationship with them is still emotionally abusive.
Protect your children from being exposed to emotional abuse. Don’t teach them that sometimes adults fight. Teach children how they should be respected and be respectful. ALWAYS BE KIND. #teachyourchildrenrespect #mentalhealthawareness #trauma #postivemindset #bearolemodel #Respect #strength
